About the Trainer
Christy Pennison, LPC-S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and the Founder of Be Inspired Counseling & Consulting, a multi-location group practice serving Central Louisiana. With over a decade of clinical and leadership experience, Christy brings a practical, growth-focused approach to clinical supervision that emphasizes self-leadership, professional accountability, and clinician development.
As a supervisor and mentor, Christy is passionate about using leadership techniques, reflective questioning, and intentional supervision structures to help clinicians grow in confidence, insight, and professional effectiveness. Christy holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Northwestern State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Louisiana College. Her work has been recognized through regional leadership honors and national media features, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field and empowering leaders in mental health.
